Estonian Indoor Championshiups
The Estonian Indoor cricket championship was held on April 5th in Vimsi sports halls. 3 teams(A,B,C) of 6 members each captained by Tim,Vineeth and James respectively battled out against each other. Each match consisted of a single innings of 6 overs and last man batting.

The first match was between teams A and C. Team A won the toss and decided to bat. They started disasterously losing Anil in the first ball, runout thanks to a great piece of fielding from Mike bevan, this was followed by a couple of close lbw appeals from Murali. James kept it tight in the next over and Mike got the second wicket(lbw) in the 3rd over. With the team in trouble Tim came in and guided them to a total of 27.

Though team C  didnt lose early wickets, they couldn't score fluenlty. Marten especially impressed with his swing bowling. It came down to the final over with Mike batting and the team requiring 11 runs to win, but they managed to score only 7 thus losing the match by 3 runs

The second match was between Teams B and C. Team C elected to bat and lost their captain in the first over bowled by Vineeth. Siva and Rob kept it very tight and the team had scored only 5 runs after 3 overs. Gleb bowled well getting Murali out lbw.The fielding of the day was by Rob when he ran the batsman out with a direct throw to the keepers end from mid off. Chris and Phil kept it tight too with their spin bowling and team C ended up with 22 on the board.

Team B were a spot of bother when they lost 3 early wickets with only 4 runs. But then Vineeth and Rob played sensibly and guided their team to a 3 wicket victory .

With team C having lost both the matches, the match between A and B was the finals. Team B decided to bowl first. Phil and Chris opened the bowling followed by Gleb who troubled the batsman with his inswingers. Shiva, Rob and Vineeth kept it tight. Tim and Anil took the team total to 28 for the loss of 5 wickets.

Vineeth and Rob opened the batting and the chase seemed in control until Rob got run out with the score at 20 because of a bad run call from Vineeth. Siva came in and  his aggressive running almost resulted in another run out before the batsmen managed to score the required runs with 5 wickets in hand.
