The match started with the visitors electing to bat. They seemed more eager to have lunch than play cricket. Oliver was the captain of the Estonian team.
Peter Holiday XI:
Vineeth opened the bowling and got the opener out the first ball, bowled ending up with match figures of 2-0-5-1.
Siva came up with his usual devastating spells intimidating batsmen with short pitched balls and ended up with 2-03-2 which included a bowled and a spectacular catch by Oliver at first slip.
Tim Heath was on a hattrick, bowling out two batsmen off his first two deliveries for the season.
The youngest member of the team Alex got a wicket caught by Vineeth at silly.
Mike got a batsman out bowled. A couple of run outs amongst the other wickets lost. The visitors ended up scoring 64 mostly from extras.
Estonian innings:
Our batting openers were Robert and Jason. We had a solid start with Jason smacking the bowlers all around the park with Robert playing second fiddle and rotating strike. Jason was quite generous judging himself out to an lbw which even though Darrell Hair would not have given him!
The score then was 47,from then on the team had a mini collapse losing Gleb, Phil and Robert. But Mike and Robin held their the nerves to finish of the match with lots of balls to spare in what was pretty much an one sided affair.
